As a mother of two young children and former
elementary school teacher the owner of Frogs
and Pollywogs knew what she liked and
disliked about children’s toys. That’s
why she opened Frogs & Pollywogs. “I had
always wanted to own my own store. “I also
knew I wanted to be around children.”
Many of the items at Frogs & Pollywogs are
made of wood. Most do not require batteries,
which is one of our objectives. There are
stuffed animals, books, wooden blocks, doll
sets and more.
“We like to look for toys that have
playability, which means kids interact with
the toys, not just react to them. “We focus
on ages birth to 12 years.”
A sign in the shop says, “We’re a hands on
toy store. Feel free to play.” We keep
several toys around so children can do just
that.
“We have something for just about
everybody,” Hop on in.......let's
